Meerkat Films is a production company based in Newcastle that specialises in documentary filmmaking.  Recent projects include a film about shoe shiners in Bolivia and a film about pigeon racers in the North East of England. We have also worked extensively in the field of music, with clients such as EMI and The Sage Gateshead.

We use High Definition Video and state of the art audio equipment to achieve a film-like quality to our work.  Our philosophy is to begin every film project with a fresh outlook and to ensure that each film has a style unique to its subject.  Our work will always display the highest quality and integrity.

We are currently working on a documentary set in the stunning Orkney Islands of Scotland.  The subject of the film is top secret and will be revealed on this website when it's been shot!
